Company
Trust by design. Sovereignty by construction.
AI now reads threat reports faster than any analyst, and its output is acted on at machine speed. What defenders lack is knowledge they can trust and own. IdoubleS builds the customer-owned Cyber Threat Model, the shared knowledge layer between threat intelligence and security operations, validated by accountable people, reused by every team and every AI tool, deployed wherever the data must stay.

What we believe
German startup, privately financed with German capital.
Built on open-source frameworks · Designed for technological sovereignty
Digital sovereignty tops the agenda of German and European security leaders, and security platforms are increasingly cloud-delivered while organisations work under very different requirements. Sovereignty, though, is not a question of where data is processed. It is about who controls the knowledge, the models and the dependencies, and whether an organisation keeps a choice. IdoubleS is a German company, privately financed with German capital, built on open-source frameworks without dependence on proprietary code, deployed to requirement, with the model as the customer's asset in open standards.
- Self-financed and German
No venture capital, no foreign investor
IdoubleS Cybersecurity GmbH is funded entirely through private German capital. The roadmap answers to solving customer problems, not to satisfying investors or steering towards an exit.
- Built for Germany, DACH and the EU
Regulated and sensitive environments first
We develop primarily for the German, DACH and EU markets, where DORA, NIS2, KRITIS and TIBER-EU set the bar for evidence.
- Open-source foundations
Technological sovereignty, preserved
Consistent use of open-source frameworks avoids dependencies on proprietary code and keeps the foundations auditable.
Our vision and mission
Knowledge you can defend, owned by you.
Evidence-backed · Traceable · Validated · Maintained · Owned by you
Organised criminal groups, state actors and hacker groups keep an operational tempo that leaves defenders behind.
To contribute to a safer digital world by helping those who protect society understand adversarial behaviour deeply enough to anticipate and counter it.
To transform Cyber Threat Intelligence and AI-generated knowledge into governed, validated and actionable knowledge that humans and machines can trust, built on open standards and designed for technological sovereignty.
Our story
Father and son, built in the evenings alongside a day job and a degree.
Behind IdoubleS are Rukhsar Khan, founder and CEO, and his son Yusuf Khan, co-founder and CTO. Their collaboration began many years ago as a research and development project in the evenings. Rukhsar Khan had drafted initial ideas on how to systematically raise the maturity level of a security operations centre, and needed help building the prototypes. By day he worked as a senior cyber security consultant and his son was studying.
The entrance exam was set by the father himself, a programming task he would have budgeted two weeks for. Yusuf Khan solved it in two days, with a better result than his father would have expected of himself after two weeks. From then on, the two developed the platform together. The evening prototypes became the platform that is validated in the defence sector today.
“I had the ideas but not the time to build them. Yusuf delivered in two days what would have taken me two weeks, and it was better. That settled it, we do this together.”

Founded in 2011, IdoubleS Cybersecurity GmbH initially focused on value-added reselling, specialising in security monitoring and incident response solutions from leading US-based vendors.
Recognising that cyber attackers had surpassed the defence community, IdoubleS transitioned into an R&D organisation with a focus on gaining deeper insights into sophisticated advanced persistent threats. By identifying key challenges, we developed ideas and concepts designed to drive the development of game-changing and marketable solutions.
Advancing in R&D, drafting proof-of-concept papers and validating our ideas and concepts through renowned global institutions within our domain, we made considerable progress.
We started developing, testing and validating prototype solutions that we demonstrated in front of innovator prospects. Commercial activities to develop the market for our proposed solution commenced.
We achieved remarkable early market traction and credibility with the ideas, concepts and prototypes of IdoubleS. Engagement with innovator customers in European governments, defence and the financial services industry gained momentum.
IdoubleS repositioned as a German cybersecurity startup, privately financed with German capital. Building on years of R&D, prototype validation and early market traction, we sharpened our strategic focus around the Governed Cyber Threat Model - Trust by Design - and laid the foundation for its development into a scalable, market-ready cybersecurity platform.
We conducted various stakeholder and early-adopter campaigns, which helped us establish strategic alliances with large independent software vendors and convert an innovator customer from the defence industry into our first early-adopter customer.
Additional prospective early-adopter customers in European governments, defence and the financial services industry lined up for signing.
Highly skilled development and R&D teams set out to build the IdoubleS Cyber Threat Modelling platform for market entry, a Governed Cyber Threat Model, trust by design. Every claim in it is evidence-backed, repeatable, traceable, scored with a confidence and validated by analysts. Over open standards the platform connects to the SIEM, EDR and intelligence tools an organisation already runs, so the model becomes the shared foundation of a systemic cyber defence.
The platform is validated in the German defence sector from beta to live operation. A joint value proposition with CrowdStrike and a reseller, integration and MSSP partnership with SVA are in place, and the Governed Cyber Threat Model is presented at it-sa 2026. We continue to grow.
